Playing the piano for 12 hours

Marathon ivory tickling should be a treat at the MAC

Come take in a piano marathon this Saturday at the McMillan Arts Centre and support arts in the community.

It’s a fundraiser called Pianorama and will feature several local pianists playing for a combined time of 12 hours.

“We feel this is a unique way to showcase local musicians and have a non-stop musical feast for the community to enjoy,” said Dave Wright, office administrator at the MAC.

Admission to the event is by donation and will go to keeping the MAC running. Pianorama starts at 9 a.m. on Nov. 3 and runs to 9 p.m. in the Concert Gallery. Refreshments will be available.
