A Parents Night Out fundraiser next week hopes to raise money for a school yard enhancement plan at QBES as well as benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The event is being hosted by the Qualicum Beach Elementary School Parent Advisory Council (QBES PAC) at Thalassa Restaurant Saturday, April 20 from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
A $20 ticket includes dinner (a burger or pasta) and a drink (a glass of wine or beer) and there will also be a silent auction, draws and games.
QBES PAC will be donating 40 per cent of the proceeds to Make-A-Wish of BC and Yukon and the rest will go toward improving playground equipment and creating more garden space at QBES. Tickets are available at QBES or Thalassa Restaurant in Qualicum Beach, located at 469 Memorial Avenue.
