Stephen Fearing brings blend of roots, folk and pop to Parksville on Nov. 13

Show at Knox United Church starts at 7:30 p.m., tickets priced at $30

Knox United Church in Parksville presents singer-songwriter Stephen Fearing for an evening show on Saturday, Nov. 13.

Fearing’s music is a mesmerizing blend of roots, folk and pop.

Co-founder of Canadian roots-rock group Blackie and The Rodeo Kings, Fearing is a beguiling teller of tales and master guitarist who delights audiences throughout North America, the UK and Europe.

A multi-Juno and Canadian Folk Music award winner, his ninth solo album, Every Soul’s a Sailor, was named the 2017 Worldwide Album of the Year by Blues & Roots Radio.

Tickets for the show are priced at $30, and can be purchased through Eventbrite.ca, or through local retail outlets, Close To You Boutique (174 Corfield St.) and Fireside Books (114 Middleton Ave.).

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.

Attendees will be required to wear face masks, and provide proof of vaccination before entry.
