Ann Jinks (Polly) and Calvin Tyndall (Long John Silver) are just two of the colourful characters in the upcoming Christmas pantomime 'Treasure Island' at the Village Theatre in Qualicum Beach.

ECHO Players’ popular end-of-year show this year is Treasure Island, a fun-filled family frolic for those who enjoy booing, cheering, singing and laughing at a lighthearted, traditional pantomime.

With a nod to Robert Louis Stevenson’s original classic tale of adventure on the high seas, this audacious tale written by Ben Crocker asks some pertinent questions about our own treasures.

Directed by Julian Packer, this madcap laugh-a-minute pirate adventure story, from start to finish, will have you rolling in the aisles with laughter.

The show runs from Dec. 10 at 7:30 p.m. to Dec. 29 at 2 p.m. at the Village Theatre (110 Second Ave. West) in Qualicum Beach.

Tickets are available online at echoplayers.ca.
