More than 50 girls from the United States will perform a free concert at the Parksville Fellowship Baptist Church in Parksville this Tuesday.
The Moody Bible Institute Women’s Choir from Chicago, Illinois has a local connection, as one of the choir members attending school there is from Oceanside.
“Her choir is going on a tour and they are coming up our way and they thought ‘why don't we book a concert at her home church?’” said pastor Shawn Green.
The concert happens at 7 p.m. on March 22, and a freewill offering will be accepted. The Church is located at 550 Pym Street. For more call 250-248-6322.
