Tickets for standup routine now on sale

With the ongoing COVID pandemic, everyone could use a moment to laugh.

Comedian Damonde Tschritter plans to help people just that at his performance at the Errington Hall on Friday, Dec. 17.

Tschritter’s relaxed, laid-back style and unique comic voice have made him a side-splitting favourite across Canada and the United States.

In 2006, he became the first-ever Canadian in its 27-year history to win the illustrious Seattle International Comedy Competition (the largest of its kind in the U.S).

In that three-week long event, Tschritter did 17 shows and was crowned champion.

He was also awarded the gold medal performance for top comedic act at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver.

His TV comedy specials have aired on CTV, CBC, HBO, Comedy Network and Comedy Central. His radio stints include CBC’s ‘The Debaters’ and ‘Madly Off in All Directions’. He has appeared at every comedy festival in North America, including the New Faces Gala at Just for Laughs.

Tschritter has shared the stage with comedy legends Robin Williams, Tim Allen and Bob Saget, to name a few. He has appeared in both film and television, and is an accomplished screenwriter with two TV shows and one movie currently in development.

Tickets can be purchased through the Errington Hall website, erringtonhall.tickit.ca.

As this is an indoor show, facemasks are expected to be worn by patrons and vaccine passports will be verified.
