B.C. needs poverty reduction plan

Most British Columbians are shocked to learn that we are the last province in Canada to develop a poverty reduction plan.

We as west coasters pride ourselves on having economic clout and being socially progressive.

We need a poverty reduction plan that has accountable measures, strong targets and timelines, takes bold immediate actions such as raising welfare/disability rates, and has an actuation of livable.
