Do not drive with pets unsecured in vehicle

Re: ‘RCMP: Driving with pets unsecured an ultimate distraction’ (PQB News, Jan. 4)

People drive with dogs on the dashboard, sitting on their shoulders, wrapped around the back of their neck, standing beside the driver with their head out the window.

I wonder at the lack of care exhibited by these drivers for their pet, passengers and themselves.

Hopefully the graphic description of the airbag death will awaken these people.

Thank you for this article.
