I have just come in from shovelling my driveway for a second time due to another snowfall.
During the night the snowplow came and blocked my driveway. I am a woman in my seventies with no help.
Luckily, I’m quite fit, and soon will be fitter if we get more snow and the snowplows continue to heap the snow from the street and onto my driveway entrance.
Last year I had the same problem and called city hall. Of course, nothing was done. I just want them to consider that not everyone has money to pay to have a person or persons clear the driveway, and not everyone is a strapping man.
It’s irritating. I’ve a mind to go out and do what that protester did in China, stand in front of the tank (snowplow) at 2 a.m. with my shovel in hand!
