First I would like to thank the Town of Qualicum Beach workers for doing a great job cleaning up the branches and debris from the roads from the recent windstorms.
The only problem is the bike lanes, they still have branches and debris on them forcing me to ride on the road.
This is especially true on Village Way from Berwick all the way past the high school. I ride my bike almost everyday and use the bike lanes.
Some drivers honk at me for riding on the road but sometimes I have no choice.
There are a lot of students that ride their bikes to school so bike lanes should be cleared.
So thanks again for the great job but don’t forget the bike lanes.
