Driving public needs access to open competition

Drivers in B.C. are forced to deal for their automobile insurance with the government monopoly of the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC), and we are stuck paying the highest rates in all of Canada. That needs to change.

The best auto insurance option for British Columbians is wide-open competition. Government monopolies made no sense in the 1970s, and make even less sense in the age of the internet and easily obtained competing quotes.

When will the driving public wake up and start demanding access to open competition, and stop paying the people who mismanage ICBC their huge wages and obscene bonuses?
