The fight against climate change is doomed, and the Oct. 1 issue of the PQB News is a great example why.
Nobody is willing to actually make the lifestyle changes necessary. These include not driving gasoline powered vehicles, not flying and not eating meat.
People are willing to demonstrate and demand “changes” from government but more than that no one even thinks about. School trustee Barry Kurland made the very necessary suggestion that school trips not involve flying and the local paper writes an editorial saying, no we don’t really have to go that far.
That is how far we have to go and that is why the fight against climate change is doomed.
