Objections to the location of the proposed pot shop in Qualicum Beach include its proximity to the public library and daycare, and the number of senior residents in the area.
Presumably this is because those attending the pot shop would be shocked and outraged, even intimidated, seeing a senior taking a young child into the library to borrow a book.
