Before the snow, my friend and I enjoyed walking around Parksville.
During those walks we noticed many of the storm drains are fully or partially blocked with leaves and other debris (I cleaned a few of them). As the snow melts, we all need to be sure the run-off can easily flow through these drains.
If you know where the storm drain is on your street, please shovel the snow and ice away then have a look to see that it is cleared of other debris. This will help everyone and the city most likely can’t get to all of them. If you don’t know where the storm drain is, I am sure the City of Parksville could tell you.
