I am so elated by the news of what our mayor and council have been able to accomplish with regards to 222 Corfield project.
I know how hard they worked to make this happen. I am confident that we have chosen the right team for this job.
I would also like to say that their willingness to engage with the citizens of Parksville and listen to their concerns is so encouraging.
The city is in need of a multi-use facility for conventions, sports, swimming and recreation to encourage younger families to live here and help our community grow strong and prosper.
Don’t forget, the Baby Boomers won’t be around forever, myself included, so the best thing we seniors can do for our young people is keep moving forward.
If we were to convert the Parksville community centre into a new RCMP station it would better serve our community, and make that property more profitable.
