When you park you car in your driveway what do you typically remove from it?
Now imagine having to do this from across the street with fast-moving cars, trucks and motorcycles.
Imagine an older person or a child having to do this.
This parking solution is very dangerous.

The safest, most intelligent plan for enhancing the beach is to either make the area in question one way, or to do what many beautiful cities have done with great success: make the area a pedestrian way with access for home owners and service vehicles only.
The current plan is dangerous and lacking in imagination.
