LETTER: People default to the easy and lazy routine

Dear Premier Horgan and Prime Minister Trudeau:

My husband and I live in Qualicum Beach. When we are shopping in the communities of Parksville and Qualicum Beach we are almost the only people wearing masks and keeping two metres distance from others.

Please continually emphasize to the public the importance of both wearing masks in stores and always keeping two metres apart from others who do not live in the same household. This message needs to be out there daily.

You also know that COVID-19 is going to spike come September. We all must try to continue to contain this virus now and possibly forever.
