PM could use some simple math lessons

Was recently discussing the ever-growing Canadian federal deficit with an email buddy.

We discussed how the Liberals got elected in 2015 by promising to balance their budget in 2019, but instead declared a deficit of around $20 billion just before last October’s election.

My buddy and I concluded that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau needs simple lessons in mathematics, and his saviour may be closer than we think.

We all remember favourite teachers from our own schooldays, I had Mr. “Knobby” Clark for geography, Mr. “Bing” Crosby for English language and literature, and Mr. Cox who somehow made mathematics interesting and entertaining at Redruth County Grammar School in UK in the 1950s.

Even though our PM’s father was known as P.E.T., the chances are his own scholastic inadequacies never made him a teacher’s pet.
