Thanks for making Canada Day celebrations great

On behalf of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 76 and the Town of Qualicum Beach, I would like to extend my personal thanks to all of those that contributed to making the Canada Day celebrations one of the biggest and best yet.

To the many volunteers who spent hours in meetings and long hours in setting up the equipment, a very special thanks.

To the mayor, town councillors, all the staff who deserve our thanks for their continued support and assistance to our Legion and the committee.

A special thanks to those businesses in the community who assisted us in hosting this event, Canada Heritage Foundation, Berwick Place, Qualicum Foods, The Gardens, Tiger Lily Farms and a special thanks to Kingsley Trucking, Errington, for the delivery and setup of the stage.

Thank you also to 19 Mission Support Squadron, CFB Comox for their participation in our parade and day events; it was our pleasure to have you attend.
