The president, executive and members of Branch 76 Qualicum Beach Royal Canadian Legion would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all those individuals and businesses who generously supported our Remembrance Poppy Campaign for 2019.
All funds generated are held in trust for the sole purpose of helping veterans and their families in times of need. Some examples include assisting with the purchase of medical equipment, travel expenses and bursaries to name but a few.
Our Poppy year culminated with the Remembrance ceremony at the Civic Centre which is always standing room only.
Thank you to all who participated and showed respect to past and present veterans.
