It saddens me to know that the developments in Bowser, including the much-needed seniors housing project, have been put on hold due to the Bowser sewage project being cancelled.
However, I am proud that our residents feel strongly about improving our environment, especially the ocean. The timeline from the RDN on the ironically named federal and provincial clean water and wastewater fund was ridiculously short and obviously meant for a cheap and quick facility.
Kudos to the residents of Bowser for demanding better environmental environmentally friendly alternatives.
