Time for compassion by all

I have long admired the unselfish work of the Manna Society for the Homeless in our area.

I have long admired the unselfish work of the Manna Society for the Homeless in our area.

They care about the disadvantaged and homeless, and try to give them some comfort with food and warm clothing.

I was sad to read in the PQB News that Parksville’s mayor and council have banned Manna from using city-owned land to continue their much appreciated charity work.

Is not city-owned land able to be used by all citizens? Perhaps Parksville council would like to do this charity work themselves?

Christmas is coming when we hope to see compassion for all!
