What’s the plan for existing trash cans?

Great news about the RDN moving to automated trash/garbage pickup in Parksville Qualicum Beach and replacing our existing system.

One question, though. What’s the RDN’s plan to deal with probably 40,000 existing plastic trash and garbage cans. How does that fit into being environmentally conscious? Maybe China will take them?
