An art exhibit at Island Exposures Gallery this week features the explorations of three photographers and a painter in Introducing:explorations.
Lynn Bieber Weir, Frank Fehr and Randy Hall all capture dynamic scenes of exploration, whether it be birds taking flight over the ocean, the history of boats and tides or the movement of weather.
Cindy Mershy puts her observations on canvas with acrylic paint rather than in photograph, where one of her three pieces looks at water breaking on the shore.
This is the third exhibit in the creative series.
The public reception for this gallery is Thursday, June 23 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Island Exposures Gallery located at 11-1209 Island Hwy. East in Parksville.
