Everyone has a pair of favourite jeans – and the more you love them the more important it is to keep them clean to avoid wearing down.

Canadian stylist Kim XO Applet has all the tips you need to protecting your blue jeans while also taking care of the environment.

“One pair of denim is responsible for 900 gallons of water in its lifetime,” KimXo says. “That’s just a lot of water we can use for other things.”

Appelt is a personal and celebrity stylist with years in the fashion industry and has become a go-to expert on all things fashion.
