Local seafood and burgers, a local band and more will all be in the mix this Saturday during the Taste of Land and Sea Celebrations in Nanoose Bay.
The event is a fundraiser for the Nature Trust of B.C. with proceeds going to Moorecroft Regional Park. Celtic Chaos will be performing, local artists will be displaying their wares and a silent auction will hold over 40 items to bid on.
The event is on Kim and Trish Mauriks’ ranch in Nanoose Bay. Natural Gift Seafoods is donating salmon for the barbecue and burgers are coming from the Mauriks.
The event is Sat., Sept. 8 from 12 to 4 p.m. Tickets are $25, $10 for kids, under 6 are free. Tickets are at Mulberry Bush book stores or by calling 1-866-288-7878. The farm is at 2632 Northwest Bay Road.
