The Mt. Arrowsmith Bonsai Society will be holding its Spring Bonsai Show at the Old School House Gallery in Qualicum Beach on Saturday May 21 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Bonsai is the art of growing trees in containers, and had its origins in the far East.

This is chance for the club members to show the general public their best bonsai specimens. In addition, local bonsai artist David Rowe will give a demonstration on bonsai technique.

The public is welcome to attend and learn more about the ancient art of bonsai.
