The Grade 5 students graduating from Arrowview Elementary School will have a special musical performance at their year end ceremony on Wednesday, June 27.
The Qualicum Beach Ukulele Band which is part of the Qualicum Beach Seniors’ Activities Centre will be performing for the students who will be moving onto middle school.
An active group for over 10 years, the band has been entertaining at senior homes and various other venues around the area. About a dozen musicians will take part in a Hawaiian program and will be wearing Hawaiian outfits.
The class will also be adorned in the Hawaiian theme.
