TOSH to facilitate online talk for art and book collectors in Parksville Qualicum Beach

Do you have questions as an art or book collector, or have you always wanted to know how to build an art collection?

Collections advisor Spencer W. Stuart will offer a complimentary online talk to discuss case studies from his professional practice, to chart the life cycle of collections and the collectors who build them. This online talk will take place on Thursday, March 18 at 11 a.m., facilitated through The Old School House Arts Centre (TOSH).

Stuart has provided advisory services to private collectors, as well as institutions aiding in the design and execution of collection development, inventories, catalogues, collection appraisals and deaccession strategies.

He holds a master’s degree in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute in London, England. He is also an active writer and lecturer on histories of the printed worked for a variety of publications including The Book Collector, Amphora and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC).
