The ‘Bus Garage’ conceptual design and related transportation mobility study will be presented to Qualicum Beach council during its committee of the whole meeting on March 27 at 10 a.m.
The designs, developed by consultant PWL Partnership Landscape Architects Inc., are the outcome of extensive public engagement activities to articulate a shared vision for the Bus Garage site, while addressing transportation needs.
The draft report includes a conceptual design for the public plaza, the preferred parkade layout, and findings from the mobility study. Residents are invited to attend the meeting to ask questions and offer feedback on the proposed design.

Based on feedback and direction provided by council from this meeting, PWL will make refinements to create a final conceptual design and transportation mobility report. The refined report will be brought forward to council for consideration in late spring of 2024.
Public engagement for this project was extensive and the feedback received is outlined in the Phase Two engagement memo found at qualicumbeach.com/busrevive.
