A section of downtown Parksville will be without power tomorrow (Feb. 21) due to a scheduled outage to facilitate a pole replacement.
BC Hydro says 138 customers will be affected by the outage, which is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, with the power expected back at 4:30 p.m. the same day.

The areas affected include 111 Craig St. to 186 Craig St., 107 Hirst Ave to 156 Hirst Ave, 102 Island Highway East to 166 Island Highway East, 155 Jensen Ave E; 106 McCarter St. to 188 McCarter St. and 104 Middleton Ave to 154 Middleton Ave.
