Motorists are being advised that Mainroad crews will be performing shoulder maintenance work on Highway 19 between Horne Lake Road and Englishman River Bridge near the City of Parksville.
The work, which will take place from Oct. 2 to Oct. 8 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., will occur in the left lane, both directions and will be a continuous, slow-moving work zone.
Mainroad is urging motorists to obey signage and watch out and respect all roadside crews.
Drivers are reminded to obey signs and traffic control personnel and slow down in the work zone area.
