Residents and visitors will experience the magic of the holiday season when Parksville Downtown Business Association presents the first-ever Holiday Sparkle Tree Light-Up in Memorial Plaza.
The inaugural event will take place on Friday, Nov. 22, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. It is the first time Memorial Plaza will shine with a beautifully illuminated holiday tree.
“We are very excited and extremely proud to have been able to provide this stunning tree as a gift to the community, adding to the vibrancy and warmth of Parksville Downtown during the holiday season.” said PDBA president Tami Frankford. “We greatly appreciate the kind support of the City of Parksville for their help in making this dream a reality.”
The PDBA invites everyone to join them for an evening filled with festive cheer.
There will be joyful singalong carolling to bring everyone into the holiday spirit, while attendees can enjoy complimentary popcorn and hot chocolate. The first 50 children to arrive will receive sparkly glow sticks to light up the night. And, of course, no holiday celebration would be complete without a visit from the beloved Santa and Mrs. Claus, who will make a special appearance to spread cheer and delight.
Join Parksville Downtown in celebrating this momentous occasion and make this festive evening one to remember.
