The inaugural Holiday Sparkle Tree Light-Up event by the Parksville Downtown Business Association has been rescheduled to Nov. 26 due to adverse weather in the forecast.
The event, originally set for Nov. 22, will include the lighting of a holiday tree in Parksville's Memorial Plaza, along with singalong carolling and complimentary popcorn and hot chocolate.
A forecast of rain and heavy winds prompted the PDBA to postpone the event.
The event will go from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
