Traffic rules may have been too much for someone in Qualicum Beach.
The Town of Qualicum Beach reported a stop sign was stolen from Mant Road and two 70 km/h signs from Rupert and Bennett Road on Jan. 9.
During the week of Jan. 6 to Jan. 12, Oceanside RCMP received 216 complaints. Some of the other incidents included:
On Jan. 7, a male trespasser was reported and removed by RCMP in the 100 block of Corfield Street South in Parksville. The next day, a residence was reported toilet papered and egged in the 300 block of Mill Road in Qualicum Beach. Also Jan. 9, a shed was reported broken into with a Honda EU 7000 generator stolen in the 3900 block of Horne Lake Caves Road.
A vehicle window was reported broken on the 600 block of Blenkin Avenue in Parksville on Jan. 10. One day later a courier package were reported stolen from a front porch in the 500 block of Corfield Street; and on Jan. 12, a break-end-enter was reported with a PlayStation and money missing in the 700 block of Island Highway East.
