M&N Mattress and Sofa’s entire mattress collection is made right here in B.C., with the exception of a few specialized options for cabinet beds and sofa beds. Approximately 80 per cent of their home furniture comes from Canadian or B.C. manufacturers and all three of their sofa, loveseat and sectional brands are Canadian-made.
"We've had a maple leaf in our logo since Day 1 and that sums up how we've always felt about supporting Canadian and B.C.-made products," Mark says. "Choosing locally made over imports has always just made sense to us. Why wouldn’t we support fellow Canadian business owners whenever possible?"
The store’s three main sofa suppliers all have strong Canadian roots. Stylus made-to-order sofas, based in B.C., has been crafting custom furniture for more than 60 years. Likewise, Ontario’s Decor-Rest has been producing quality sofas for more than six decades. Winnipeg-based Palliser boasts more than 80 years in business, and continues to manufacture most of its products in Canada.
Beyond quality and durability, choosing Canadian-made furniture supports local jobs, reduces environmental impact through shorter shipping distances and ensures strict adherence to Canadian manufacturing standards.
