As always, the Gardens’ culinary team pulled out all the stops, creating an elegant menu of beef tenderloin, red onion marmalade, glazed carrots, asparagus and duchess potato.
The summer salute topped a season of fun events for residents that included a festive English garden party with high tea and fine china. And last month, the Gardens at Qualicum hosted a special butterfly release to honour loved ones lost over the past 18 months and the resiliency demonstrated by residents, staff and families in response to the challenges of COVID.
