Care2Talk Health all began during the COVID-19 pandemic. When Founder and CEO Jordan Schley’s grandfather was in a care community in QB, the family faced significant challenges connecting with him, as healthcare staff were forced to resort to virtual visits using iPads. This disconnect inspired Schley to create a system that would allow families to stay connected to their loved ones while ensuring access to quality care.
What started as a virtual tool has grown into a comprehensive healthcare solution, providing both in-person and virtual care. With support from an award-winning team, made up of diverse medical professionals—including doctors, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, counselors and social workers— the Care2Talk Health program delivers compassionate and timely care to seniors and their families.
"Care2Talk Health was built by listening to what people wanted – elevated care for families, seniors and children in Qualicum Beach. Our goal is to reduce anxiety, provide same-week, 30-minute visits with a dedicated provider, and offer a boutique, premium healthcare experience. It’s about taking control of your health and ensuring no one gets lost in the system,” Schley says.
Now, after four and a half years of listening to the community's needs, Care2Talk Health is opening a physical clinic in Qualicum Beach, providing a range of services designed to cater to different groups. The Health Plus program is the cornerstone of Care2Talk’s offerings, providing proactive healthcare for individuals and families.
Offering virtual and in-person healthcare plans, billed annually or monthly, the program provides access to a dedicated healthcare team. The Individual Access plan ($67/month) provides virtual care, prescriptions, specialist referrals and lab requisitions. Individual Access Plus ($208/month) adds in-person visits (Victoria and Qualicum Beach/Parksville), an annual physical, enhanced blood testing, and a hearing clinic. Family Access ($100/month) covers virtual care for the whole family.
