MP Elizabeth May read from her latest book at The MAC

A GREEN PARTY: Environmentalist, writer, activist, lawyer, leader of the federal Green Party and Member of Parliament Elizabeth May signed and gave two separate readings of her new book, Who We Are: Reflections on My Life and Canada, at the MAC in Parksville on Saturday afternoon. May said her book’s message is that “every Canadian has power and not just in your vote but in your voice.” May told The NEWS she worries about a growing disconnection between Canadians and government and hopes her new book will revitalize a belief in democracy.
