All-candidates forum set for RDN Area F on Oct. 3

Candidates Kevin Goldfuss and Leanne Salter will share views at Bradley Centre

Two candidates will share their views in an all-candidates forum for Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) Area F residents at 7 p.m. tonight (Oct. 3).

Residents are encouraged to bring their questions to the Bradley Centre (975 Shearme Rd.) in Coombs.

Kevin Goldfuss and Leanne Salter have put their names forward for the position of RDN director for the Errington, Coombs and Hilliers communities.

The forum is sponsored by the Corcan Meadowood Residents Association.

The first of two Area F advanced voting days is set for Oct. 5 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Oceanside Place Arena (830 West Island Highway, Parksville), Qualicum Beach Community Hall (644 Memorial Ave, Qualicum Beach) and the RDN administration building (6300 Hammond Bay Rd).

A second advanced polling day is scheduled for Oct. 12 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Oceanside Place Arena and the RDN administration building.

On General Voting Day, Area F residents can cast a ballot at the Bradley Centre and Lighthouse Community Centre (240 Lions Way, Qualicum Beach).
