Bowser and area residents will get a chance to quiz their candidates in the provincial election at an all candidates forum sponsored by the Mapleguard Ratepayers Association on May 11.
The event, said association spokesperson Dianne Eddy, will take place at the Bowser Legion, starting at 7 p.m.
All three candidates for the Alberni-Pacific Rim constituency, Darren DeLuca of the B.C. Liberals, Scott Fraser of the NDP and Enid Mary Sangster-Kelly of the B.C. Conservatives have indicated they will attend.
Eddy said residents should prepare their questions in advance of the meeting. The format will give 30 seconds for questions and two minutes for candidates to respond. Phillip Spencer of the Parksville United Church will moderate this forum.
