The Parksville-Qualicum NDP Constituency Association will pay tribute to Premier John Horgan on the occasion of his impending retirement at a fundraiser at the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre on Sept. 26.
“We are pleased to welcome the public to a special evening to celebrate the enormous contribution of Premier Horgan to our province and to wish him well as he leaves public,” said Parksville-Qualicum MLA Adam Walker, who will host the evening.
The evening will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., according to a news release by the association.

Refreshments and entertainment will be provided, with Horgan and many of the NDP provincial caucus expected to attend, the release said.
