Canadian Blood Services is asking local residents to donate blood following the extreme snowfall across the province. Conditions across the country have forced the unexpected cancellation or postponement of clinics.
Canadian Blood Services has added extra hours to the upcoming Parksville blood donor clinic and encourages local donors to consider taking advantage of the opportunity to help by booking an appointment to donate at the Parksville Community and Conference Centre (132 Jensen Avenue East).
The clinic is open Feb. 14 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Feb. 15 from noon to 6 p.m. and Feb. 16 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
