The Parksville and District Chamber of Commerce will elect a new board of directors at its annual general meeting next week.
The evening begins with networking at 5:30 p.m. at Tigh-Na-Mara Resort on Thursday, April 11. Showcase tables will be hosted by the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Career Centre, Rotary Club of Parksville and Oceanside Cycling Coalition. Tickets are $30 each — call 250-248-3613.
Motions that will be brought forward include changing the name of the first vice-president's position to president-elect, changing the name of the second vice-president to vice-president, deleting the position secretary and creating the position of secretary-treasurer.
The board of directors of the Parksville and District Chamber of Commerce recommends members read the constitution and bylaw documents available and be prepared to vote at the AGM.
