Christmas excitement in Qualicum Beach Village

Music, rides and Santa highlight busy day in Qualicum Beach

Children of all ages filled Baileys in the Village for Breakfast with Santa early Saturday morning, and the fun continued throughout the day in Qualicum Beach.

It was Christmas in the Village, hosted by the Qualicum Beach Downtown Business Association, and it ran from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

While cheery holiday music blared from Town Hall, many families headed over to the library for holiday stories followed by free pony rides down the lane beside Dolly’s Home Hardware.

Children decorated cookies and cupcakes during the event, at Courtyard Cafe and Cafe Brie, and there was also Photos with Santa at Pharmasave and a Christmas Sing-Along at The Old School House Arts Centre.
