The City of Parksville will hold four upcoming open budget deliberation meetings on the 2022-26 financial plan.
The meetings will be held at 6 p.m. in the Forum at the Parksville Civic and Technology Centre, 100 Jensen Ave.
The meetings have been scheduled for March 23, March 30, April 13 and April 25 (if required).
“Public input into the budget is an important part of the financial planning process,” read a press release.

Residents can engage in the budget process by attending in person (check COVID regulations); submitting comments by email to council@parksville.ca; and providing comments, questions and ideas to the city’s online engagement site, Let’s Talk Parksville (www.letstalkparksville.ca).
Budget deliberation meetings can be viewed live through webstreaming from the city’s website, www.parksville.ca.
Emailed comments should be received by 4 p.m. the day before the meetings (March 22, March 29, April 12 and April 22). All comments received by the city about budget deliberations will form part of the public record.
The city’s budget and financial plans can be accessed from the website and closer to the scheduled meeting dates. Budget details will be provided on the city’s website and Let’s Talk Parksville.
