The large snowfall that hit Vancouver Island recently has led to the cancellation of the 7th annual Family Day Celebration at the Coombs Fairgrounds on Feb. 18.
The organizers, the Arrowsmith Community Recreation Association indicated that it was a difficult decision to make.
“We would have loved to enjoy this holiday with you, but safety comes first,” ACRA stated. “We hope to see you again next year, when the weather is better.”
