Election campaign signs on Corfield Street South in Parksville have been vandalized.

There appeared to be no specific candidate targeted.

The signs belonging to mayoralty candidates Kirk Oates and Ed Mayne, along with councillor candidates Adam Fras and Kim Burden were all sprayed with graffiti.

Persons caught vandalizing signs can face charges of mischief under the Criminal Code. Anyone with any information on the sign damage should call Oceanside RCMP at 250-248-6111.
