Errington baby recovering from open heart surgery - help for family organized

Baby Tobias is recovering from open heart surgery is receiving love and support from friends and family.

An Errington family whose newborn is recovering from open heart surgery is receiving love and support from friends and family.

Living Well Body Works Studio at the Coombs Junction has joined the effort to lend some financial support to the James-Johnson family.  All drop-in classes from April 26 to May 2 are by donation with proceeds going towards the family, which has a long road to recovery ahead of them.

Their son Tobias was born seven weeks ago but had trouble breathing. He was airlifted to Vancouver for emergency surgery and now his mom Laura is at his bedside at B.C .Children's Hospital.  The surgery for a condition called alcapa was more complicated than doctors had originally thought. Dad Tyrel has taken time off from his job to take care of their two other children.  Donations can also be made at: https://www.youcaring.com/medical-fundraiser/donations-for-baby-tobias-family/167315

• There is also a burger and beer event scheduled for the Errington Hall on Sunday from 2 p.m. - 7 p.. in support of the family. Kids meals and a silent auction will also be available.
