Due to significant flooding from the melting snow and high tides, parts of the Parksville Community Park will be closed until further notice.

In an email to PQB News, Deb Tardiff, manager of communications for the city, wrote that Sandcastle Drive to Arbutus Point will remain closed until the situation improves and the park is once again safe for public use.
All other city parks remain open for public use.
